About this class

About this class

A longer, flowing take on Pilates: exercises link into sequences, so you build strength and stamina without stopping to reset. Midday, when the studio is calm and you can actually hear yourself breathe.

Best if you’ve done a few Pilates classes before, though brave beginners survive it regularly. Ana keeps the pace steady and the cues sharp; you keep moving.

How a class goes

A short breath-led warm-up, then three or four flowing blocks — core, legs, back, arms — each one building on the last. We slow down for balance work near the end and finish lying down, which by then you will have earned.

Good to know

  • 60 minutes, groups of up to 10

  • Some Pilates experience helps — Classic Pilates is the perfect way in

  • Bring water; you’ll want it

  • Mats and small props are in the studio

Ready for the next step?

If Classic Pilates has started to feel comfortable, this is where it gets interesting. Same principles, more movement, and a lot more heat by minute twenty.
